Maintain Healthy Teeth and Gums with Comfortable,
Convenient and Precise Dental Treatment

3D CT Scans Provide Precise Data for Planning Smile Makeovers

3D CT Scan

Dental implants are a popular choice for people with badly damaged teeth who want a compete “smile makeover.” 3D CT scans provide the precise data and imaging needed to allow Dr. Cintron to optimally plan and place your dental implants for a fabulous new smile. 3D CT Scans are a beneficial tool we use from diagnosis to treatment to post-op examinations.

Amalgam Separator Removes Toxic Mercury from Tooth Fillings

Amalgam Separator

Today’s public and the FDA are now recognizing the dangers of mercury exposure from “silver amalgam” tooth fillings. Silver amalgam fillings have been found to be a source of toxic mercury which is a hazard to both human health and the environment.

Dr. Cintron provides replaces old silver amalgam fillings with mercury free tooth fillings and disposes of the mercury from old silver amalgam fillings in an environmentally safe way with “Hg5 Amalgam Separators.” Hg5 Amalgam Separators intercept microscopic mercury particles and even captures "dissolved" mercury to ensure that sewer discharge is more than 99% free from heavy metals. (ISO Certified removal rate: 99.82%)

EKG Monitoring Technology Ensure Safe Sedation Dentistry

EKG Monitoring Technology

Many of our clients are apprehensive about seeing the dentist due to fear of pain. We cater to cowards and provide sedation dentistry to ensure you’ll experience a relaxing, comfortable and “anxiety-free” visit to the dentist.

To ensure you are safe during your sedation we provide hospital grade EKG monitoring that enables us to administer nearly any degree of sedation administered to ensure you have a comfortable treatment session. Our CritiCare EKG monitors provide digital readouts of your vital sign data and an oscilloscope representation of your respiratory data for easy monitoring of your vital signs so you’ll be relaxed, but safe.

Empress Porcelain Tooth Composites Provide Long-Lasting Tooth Restorations

Empress Porcelain Tooth Composites

To ensure your tooth restorations last a long time (sometimes a lifetime!) Dr. Cintron uses the strongest and most natural-looking porcelain composite material available. Used for dental inlays and onlays, Empress porcelain composite material is designed to be long-lasting to withstand the wear and tear your teeth are subjected to every day. Plus, this porcelain composite material replicates the color and texture of your natural tooth enamel so your new smile looks completely natural.

KaVo DIAGNOdent Laser Detects Hidden Cavities Which Otherwise Might Be Missed

Kavo DIAGNOdent Laser

The old conventional methods of identifying cavities are not sufficiently reliable to detect hidden cavities (also known as “caries”). Hidden caries remain hidden and undiagnosed in two-thirds of all instances of classic examination methods. For example, adults often suffer from proximal and secondary caries which are highly difficult to find with conventional visual diagnosis techniques.

Only with the KaVo DIAGNOdent laser can you reliably detect hidden caries in the proximal region. The KaVo DIAGNOdent system uses a laser proximal probe (“laser beam”) which makes it possible to see any and all cavities on a tooth.

Kodak Digital X-Rays Use LOW Radiation Levels to Keep You Safer

Kodak Digital X-Rays

To help you stay well within safe radiation levels we use Kodak Digital X-Rays. Kodak Digital X-Ray machines are high-performance digital intraoral x-ray units which use LOW levels of radiation, yet are able to provide enhanced diagnosing abilities with their sharp images. This new technology allows Dr. Cintron to quickly and easily diagnose problems while keeping you and her dental staff safe with reduced x-ray radiation levels.

MI Paste Helps Protect Your Teeth from Decay

MI Paste

Your saliva helps provide essential minerals that strengthen your teeth and protect the enamel. Your diet and various activities can create an acid imbalance within your body that makes it difficult to produce saliva and protective minerals.

MI Paste is a one-of-a-kind product that restores these essential minerals and helps you produce the saliva needed to protect your tooth enamel. MI Paste is the only dental product with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP), a special milk-derived protein that is a breakthrough in oral health care in helping to remineralize teeth.

Pro Select Helps with Preventing, Treating and Controlling Gum Disease

Pro Select

Gum disease is a major cause of tooth loss in adults. The Pro-Select Periodontal Therapy System provides a 3-step approach to preventing, treating and controlling periodontal gum diseases by combining ultrasonics, ultrasonics with medicaments and heated subgingival irrigation.

Pro-Select delivers cleaner, smoother tooth surfaces... from gross scaling to definitive periodontal debridement... with total patient comfort.

Telicam Intraoral Camera Provides High-Quality Digital Photos for Accurate Diagnosis

Telicam Intraoral Camera

A high-definition dental camera with precise lighting is mandatory for identifying and diagnosing dental problems. The Telicam Intraoral Camera provides light through fiber-optics and takes digital photos which are displayed on a true-color display. Dr. Cintron uses the camera for patient education and analysis on the initial visit.

UV Lighting Water & Air Purification

UV Lighting Water & Air Purification

Physicians are now discovering that the solution to the problems of many patients is not in medicine but in reducing the pollutants in the air patients breathe and the water used during dental treatment. But mere filtration is insufficient. Filters can create a breeding ground for pathogens, like molds, bacteria and dust mites and do nothing to combat chemicals or odors.

Dr. Cintron uses germicidal ultra-violet air disinfection to reduce the spread of tuberculosis, measles, influenza, smallpox, and controlling infection in our dental office. Plus, we use UV water treatment to eliminate micobiological contaminants in the water to keep our patients safe from infection.

Waterlase Provides Comfortable, Convenient and Precise Dental Treatment

Waterlase

To provide our dental patients with comfortable, convenient and precise dental treatments we use the “Waterlase®” system instead of dental drills.

Comfortable – Waterlase® uses laser energy and a gentle spray of water to perform dental procedures without the heat, vibration and pressure associated with the dental drill. It’s so comfortable that with many procedures it’s possible to use less anesthetic, and often no anesthetic at all!

Convenient – With Waterlase®, Dr. Cintron can often get you in and out of the dentist chair faster, since it’s less likely that you’ll need an injection. It’s nice to avoid that shot, isn’t it? Not using anesthetic can allow your dentist to perform procedures in a single appointment that used to require more than one visit which saves you valuable time.

Precise – Laser technology has been the standard of care in medicine for many surgical and cosmetic procedures such as LASIK, wrinkle and hair removal and many others. Waterlase® was approved for hard tissue procedures in 1998 and since has been cleared for numerous additional dental procedures.
