Your First Visit

From the moment you enter our door for your first visit, you will receive individualized care and attention. Your first visit begins with a:

• Tour of the office
• Introduction to dental office team
• Dental and medical history review
• Discussion of dental desires and goals
• Blood pressure screening
• Complete oral examination, which includes:
  • TMJ evaluation
  • Cancer screening
  • Computerized periodontal evaluation
  • Video of hard to see areas in mouth
  • Hygiene instruction and practice tooth color evaluation
  • Digital x-rays

Please allow two hours for the visit.

Our state of the art digital sensor allows us to take x-rays with more comfort and less radiation. Our office is continually upgrading equipment to the highest standards in order to provide the best care available.

At the conclusion of your first visit if you are diagnosed with gum disease we will try to offer treatment. This will help you get started on the path to healthy teeth and gums.

Your Second Visit

This visit is a treatment planning session. Dr. Cintron will share all the information gathered with you, and clarify any questions that you may still have. This is a great time to ask questions. Treatment sequence and options will be reviewed, and a written treatment plan will be finalized. We will show you a PowerPoint presentation demonstrating some of Dr. Cintron's beautiful cases and the doctor will then show you privately, pictures of what your teeth look like on the projector. During this time the doctor will discuss some of the following:

• What are your goals for your oral health
• Do you have any fears or concerns
• Biocomp issues
• Any health concerns
• Esthetics
• Expected time for treatment
• Finances
