Health and Biocompatibility Testing
At The International Center for Dental Excellence, we recognize that each of our patients are unique people with unique bodies, and we tailor our services to each individual patient’s needs. Our biocompatibility testing services help us to figure out what those genetic needs are. Dr. Cintron is committed to doing anything in her power to give her patients their best overall health. These tests provide her with vital patient information that can make a valuable difference in her individually specialized treatments, and they provide you with information about your body that can have a serious impact on your health and well-being.
Dr. Cintron can now offer her patients several excellent biocompatibility testing options including:
ALCAT: The ALCAT test is a simple and easy blood test designed to test how your body reacts to certain foods and how they influence your immune system. With this test, you can find out about unknown food allergies, and intolerance. The results of the ALCAT can provide you with the tools that can help you prevent problems like ADD, aching joints, asthma, eczema, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, hyperactivity, migraines, and even obesity.
SpectraCell: The SpectraCell test is a micronutrient test that measures how nutrients function in a micro level in your white blood cells. This test can help you assess where you might have vitamin deficiencies in your diet. A vitamin deficiency can have a serious negative impact on your overall health. The information you get from the SpectraCell can help you correct that vitamin deficiency and may help you reduce your risk for arthritis, cancer, Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
Clifford Reactivity: The Clifford Materials Reactivity Test (CMRT) is a test that measures the way that certain chemicals and substances affect and interact with your body. Every day, you encounter thousands of different substances, and not everyone reacts to the same substance the same way. With a CMRT test, you can know what substances react well, and what substances disagree with your body. The CMRT can help you know what substances to avoid in order to maximize your overall health.
All three of these tests are easy to take, and provide valuable, necessary information. The trick to taking care of yourself is to know yourself, and these biocompatibility tests can help. They can also help Dr. Cintron know how your body will react to certain drugs, and how she can best supply her expert care in a personalized treatment. We especially recommend biocompatibility testing to our patients with compromised immune systems or a history of periodontal disease.
