10 TIPS FOR A KISSABLE SMILE
- See your dentist for fresh breath: The main causes of bad breath are gum disease, broken fillings, dehydration, diets rich in aromatic foods (garlic, onions, etc.), poor hygiene, smoking, systemic diseases, and improper nutrition.
- Teeth Whitening: A bright smile can make someone look 15 years younger. Be aware that if you have cracks in your teeth, you may not be a candidate for teeth whitening.
- Close the gaps! Research shows that people with gaps in their teeth are not taken as seriously as a person without them. They are portrayed as immature and comical.
- Have a delicious mouth! Replace metal and mercury fillings with beautiful porcelain restorations. The latest restorations are more biocompatible to your immune system.
- Drink water for juicy lips: Diabetes and other systemic diseases, some medications, hormonal changes, cancer, chemotherapy and smoking can cause dry mouth. Keep a healthy diet. Daily aerobic exercise can help you control and even reverse some of these problems.
- Look younger: As we age, our teeth wear out and become shorter. Getting porcelain veneers will restore your youthful appearance and more.
- Kiss responsibly: If someone smells bad, that is a sign of infection. Stay away! Choose your kissing partner carefully; have your dentist check their oral health. Gum disease is contagious.
- Brush and floss at least 5 times daily: 85% of the population over 30 years old have some form of periodontal disease. Healthy gums do not bleed. Have your hygienist teach you proper oral hygiene techniques and buy a Sonicare toothbrush! Dental plaque can lead to other systemic infections. It is linked to heart disease, stroke and pulmonary infections. Don’t forget to clean your tongue!
- Get dental implants: They will give you confidence and security. You don’t want to exchange teeth while kissing!
- Kiss yourself FIRST! People are attracted to happy, positive, high energy people with plans and goals in their lives.
